Terms & Conditions for Ken’s Gutters
Transparent Pricing: Ken’s Gutters’ pricing model is clear and straightforward, based on the “per linear foot” measurement of gutters for residential or commercial buildings up to three stories high. The level of debris determines the selection between our “Basic” or “Deep” cleaning packages. This debris level (moderate or heavy) is assessed through a customer-provided questionnaire and/or a detailed camera inspection. Heavy debris levels typically indicate that gutters have not been cleaned for an extended period, often over two to three years. Pricing for unclogging downspouts is set at a flat rate, varying by the building’s height. Additional charges may apply for services rendered outside our standard operating areas.
Payment: Payment for services is due upon completion unless prearranged differently. Ken’s Gutters will issue a final invoice in-person or via email after service completion. Acceptable payment methods include cash, check, or e-transfer. Ken’s Gutters reserves the right to withhold future services until all outstanding payments are settled. Based on payment history, COD (Cash On Delivery) may be required. Customers agree to these terms and shall make prompt payment as stipulated.
Scheduled Gutter Cleaning Service: Upon agreement to the provided quote, customers authorize Ken’s Gutters to schedule the gutter cleaning service. A mutually agreeable date and time will be confirmed. Cancellations can be made at any time. For inquiries, customers are encouraged to contact Ken’s Gutters via phone, text, or email.
Service Arrival: The unpredictable nature of service durations, weather conditions, and unforeseen circumstances may affect our arrival times. As our services are exterior, presence on the property is not mandatory. For clients wishing to be on-site, we strive to adhere to our scheduled times and will notify you about any changes approximately one hour in advance.
Satisfaction Guarantee: Ken’s Gutters offers a 15-day satisfaction guarantee covering any missed debris during the initial service. This guarantee does not extend to new debris accumulation or subsequent cleanings. Customers should inspect their gutters during the next rainfall to ensure proper water flow from downspouts. Please report any issues promptly.
Gutter and Downspout Water Flush: Water flushes are included with each service, using the customer’s water supply. By agreeing to the quote, customers authorize the use of their water for gutter and downspout flushing.
Ground Drains: Ken’s Gutters does not service compacted ground drains, which require a certified plumber’s attention.
Service Policies:
- Customers confirm that their property’s roofing can support the weight of our workers and equipment. Any resulting damage from non-compliance is the customer’s responsibility.
- “Cleaning” refers to ensuring gutters allow proper water drainage, not the removal of all marks, stains, or debris.
- No warranties are provided beyond the scope of our satisfaction guarantee. Ken’s Gutters is not liable for indirect or direct water damage to properties.
- Ken’s Gutters maintains necessary licensing and insurance.
- Our commitment is to professional and thorough service execution.
- Debris resulting from our services will be collected and disposed of properly.
- Any property damage believed to be caused by Ken’s Gutters must be reported within five business days after service completion.
